Following the EV, Tata plans to introduce petrol and diesel engine options. The diesel-powered Curvv, featuring the Nexon’s 1.5-litre diesel engine, is slated to launch after the EV. The petrol variant will house a 125hp, 225Nm, 1.2-litre direct-injection turbo-petrol engine, and a CNG option will also be offered. Various gearbox options, including manual, AMT, and DCT automatic, will be available based on the powertrain.

This launch strategy positions Tata Curvv as a versatile and forward-looking addition to the Indian SUV market.
