The company has now disclosed the fuel efficiency figures for the new Creta, varying based on the chosen engine and transmission. The overall fuel efficiency range for the Creta extends from 17.4 kmpl to 21.8 kmpl.
Starting with the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, generating 115 PS and 143 Nm of torque, it offers two transmission options: a 6-speed manual and an Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT). The manual variant provides a fuel efficiency of 17.4 kmpl, while the IVT-equipped model offers a slightly improved 17.7 kmpl. Moving to the popular 1.5-litre diesel engine with a maximum power of 116 PS and 250 Nm of torque, available with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission, the fuel efficiency figures are 21.8 kmpl and 19.1 kmpl, respectively.
The third engine option is the recently introduced 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine, the most powerful in the lineup, exclusively paired with a 7-speed DCT gearbox. This engine claims a fuel efficiency of around 18.4 kmpl.
Regarding the 2024 Hyundai Creta variants and pricing, the vehicle is available in 7 variants, featuring the three aforementioned engines and various transmission options. The pricing starts with the base E variant at Rs 10.99 lakh, followed by the EX variant at Rs 12.7 lakh, and the S and S(O) variants priced at Rs 13.4 lakh and Rs 14.32 lakh, respectively.
The top-spec variants, including SX, SX Tech, and SX(O), range from Rs 15.27 lakh to Rs 17.24 lakh, offering a comprehensive feature list, with the SX(O) variant featuring advanced amenities such as an electro-chromic IRVM, front parking sensors, a 360-degree camera system, blind-spot view monitor, electrically adjustable driver’s seat, ventilated front seats, and a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument gauge cluster.
