Hyundai has introduced the Hyundai Creta Facelift 2024 with a starting price of Rs 10.99 lakh for the base E petrol-manual variant, and the range extends up to Rs 20 lakh for the top-tier SX(O) diesel-automatic trim. It’s essential to note that these prices are initial offerings. The Hyundai Creta Facelift 2024 boasts a total of 19 variants, featuring five engine and gearbox options.

Comparatively, Hyundai Creta Facelift 2024 show an increase of Rs 13,000 from the pre-facelift models. The highest-spec Creta now costs Rs 80,000 more than its pre-facelift counterpart. Despite these adjustments, the Creta facelift maintains its competitive positioning within the segment.

Hyundai has undertaken a comprehensive redesign of the 2024 Creta’s exterior, departing from mere cosmetic enhancements. The front and rear styling have been entirely revamped, featuring a larger grille with parametric details. This distinctive grille is complemented by a new lighting arrangement, consisting of split headlamps with LED Daytime Running Lamps, sequential indicators, and a light bar above the grille. The main quad-LED headlamps are positioned lower on the bumper. Additionally, the front end benefits from new scuff plates, contributing to a more aesthetically pleasing appearance compared to the pre-facelift model.

The rear end styling of the Creta facelift follows a similar trend with a more angular design. Notable features include full LED tail-lamps, a continuous LED light bar across the entire width, and a redesigned rear bumper. In terms of profile, the primary visual distinction for the 2024 model lies in its new alloy wheels.

Turning attention to the interior of the Hyundai Creta facelift, significant updates have been implemented. The dashboard has been entirely revamped, prominently featuring a 10.25-inch touchscreen with updated software. This seamlessly connects with the new 10.25-inch digital driver display borrowed from the Alcazar model. The screen offers three themes and, notably, displays footage from the blind-view monitor upon activating the indicator. Further enhancements include a redesigned lower center console housing controls for the novel dual-zone climate control system. Inside, lighter color schemes and copper details contribute to the overall changes in the ambiance.

The rear section of the cabin remains largely unchanged, with the sole addition being new USB Type-C charging points. The boot volume remains consistent at 433 litres, showing no alterations.

In terms of features and safety in the Hyundai Creta facelift, the vehicle continues to impress. Noteworthy comfort and convenience features include a powered driver’s seat, dual-zone climate control, an onboard air purifier, electronic parking brake, two-step adjustable rear seat backrest, rear seat headrest pillows, and rear sunshades. The technological aspects are equally remarkable, with the 10.25-inch digital display offering clear and easy reference. The touchscreen is sleek and supports 12 regional languages.

The introduction of a new 360-degree camera proves to be beneficial, and the Bose sound system stands out for its impressive quality. The package also encompasses connected technology, featuring a new Jio Saavn music streaming app and the ability to remotely monitor the vehicle through the eSIM-based setup.

In terms of safety enhancements, the new Creta introduces notable upgrades. Six airbags are now standard across all variants, and higher-spec models incorporate radar and camera-based Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). The comprehensive suite of 19 ADAS functions includes features such as auto emergency braking, adaptive cruise control with stop and go, lane-keep assist, and more. Hyundai asserts that the body shell has been reinforced at critical points to enhance crash protection. The 2024 Creta complies with India’s latest crash test norms and will undergo rating evaluation by Bharat NCAP in the coming months.

Regarding the engines in the Hyundai Creta facelift, the primary mechanical change involves the introduction of a new 160hp, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine. This replaces the discontinued 140hp, 1.4-litre turbo-petrol unit and is exclusively paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The 115hp, 1.5-litre petrol, and 116hp, 1.5-litre diesel engines remain unchanged, offering both manual and automatic gearbox options, respectively.
